National Funding Kickoff Luncheon Set for Dec. 27
Featuring Teams In 2017 San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl
SAN DIEGO (November 16, 2017) – College football fans will have the rare opportunity to mingle with
players and coaches from the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl at the National Funding
Kickoff Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 27 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. with the Carrier Johnson + Culture Battle of the Bands. After the
band concert, guests will make their way to the hotel’s ballroom, where they will dine and interact
with players. The luncheon program will include remarks by head coaches, players, and sports media
personalities, as well as season highlight videos for both football teams.
Individual tickets are $65 and tables (which include eight guests and two players) are $650. Guests
can choose to sit with either Pac-12 or Big Ten players. Each year the SDCCU Holiday Bowl matches
up teams from the Pac-12 and Big Ten conferences.
This year’s 40th annual game will be played on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 6 p.m. and will be televised
nationally on FS1.
The San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl is a nonprofit organization and has a mission of
generating tourism, exposure, economic benefit and civic pride for San Diego and its citizens by
producing the nation’s most exciting bowl game and festival of events.
